Jim has been with Grand Canyon State Electric Cooperative Association since 2000. He previously worked for more than 15 years at Western Farmers Electric Cooperative (an Oklahoma G&T) where he directed a public relations staff that won more than 20 peer-reviewed communication awards. He served on the Certified Cooperative Communicator board from 1985-1991. He earned a public relations degree from Oklahoma State University in 1976.

Responsibilities Include:

• Editing the monthly Current Activities which serves as the official in-house publication for GCSECA
• Editing the bi-monthly Currents publication which is sent to utility consumers
• Coordinating the GCSECA Educational and Professional Development programs
• Special projects and activities
• Coordinating the Arizona contingent participating in the Washington Youth Tour
