Traditionally the Summer Board of Directors Meeting is held in July at a location other than the GCSECA Headquarters Building. For the past several years, the meeting has been held in Flagstaff.

In addition, either before or after the Summer Board Meeting, an educational/information meeting with a variety of speakers is held for GCSECA full and associate members' boards and key staff.

The Board Meeting agenda and schedule for the Summer Meeting are normally ready about two months prior to the meeting.

The 2010 Summer Meeting will be held in Flagstaff on July 27-29.

Traditionally the GCSECA Annual Meeting is held in January. Officers for the GCSECA Board of Directors are elected at this meeting.

In addition, either before or after the Annual Meeting, a Legislative Conference with a variety of speakers is held for GCSECA full and associate members' boards and key staff. The Legislative Conference includes updates on legislation and visits by GCSECA members' directors and key staff with the Arizona legislators.

A traditional event for the Legislative Conference is a dinner and dance for the Arizona legislators, Arizona Corporation Commissioners, GCSECA members' board members and key staff.

The Annual Meeting agenda and schedule for the Legislative Conference are normally ready about two months prior to the meeting.

The 2010 Annual Meeting and Legislative Conference will be held at the Hilton Phoenix (47th Street and University) in Phoenix on February 1-3.
