The 2010 Meter School has been set for April 6-8 in Marana at the Trico Electric Cooperative facilities. The three day event features traditional classroom instruction and hands-on work with the training boards. The last day is reserved for experienced technicians.
The instructors the first two days will be Chris Lindsay-Smith of McAvoy & Markham on power diversion and voltage power quality and Terry Gaiser of Landis and Gyr on demand and reactive metering.
The day three instructors will be Joseph Herrera of Electrical District Number Three on SCADA and multifunction meters and Kevin Short of Anza Electric on solar power net metering and safety.
